Today Rajasthan circle has signed a MoU with State Government for providing 5 FTTH connections at each GP i.e. about 45000 FTTH connections all across the state. MoU is for 5 years.
Rs. 80000/- per GP Capex shall be paid by the State Govt.
First year mtce is included and second year onwards Rs. 500/- p.m. per connection is chargeable.
Total business is worth Rs. 200 Cr for 5 yrs and shall help BSNL to take its FTTH business to all rural areas. It is expected to grow to 1Lakh FTTH connections in next 2 years.
This is the biggest business ever done by Rajasthan circle.
