BSNL CO-Nd circulated the lletter received from DOT&DOPT on the subject” Reservations in promotions- procedure to be followed prior to effecting reservations in the matter of promotion by all dept. of central governments* as per the Supreme court judgement for implimentation.

The conditions are :-

1. collecting quatifiable data regarding inadequancy of represantations of SC/ST;

2. Application of this data to each cadre seperatly &

3. if Roster exists , the unit for operation of roster would be the cadre for which the quantifiable data would have to be collected and applied in regarding to the filling up of the vacancies in roster.Letter 17052022 on Reservation in Promotion DOPT Order 36012162019-Estt(Res) dated 12042022-1
